Totally self contained, no bulky powerpacks to carry. The Enerco KT-30 is a Hydraulically operated, Rail gap adjuster, hand pumped, capable of either pushing or pulling rail ends with a force of up to 300Kn.
The unit grips the head of the rail, leaving access to remove fishplates, and replace insulating end posts, whilst still holding any tension or compression present in the rail.

Apart from the normal creep adjustment, it is now. possible to replace a failed end post without the need to wait for the rail to cool down (usually the next night if you are lucky!), and because it is self contained, this could be done in under half an hour, saving a fortune in train delays.
